Veteran Actress Peju Ogunmola Returns to Acting Months After Losing Son
Veteran Yoruba actress, Peju Ogunmola, has announced her return to the movie industry months after the death of her son, Ayomikun.

In an emotional Instagram video posted on Saturday with the caption, “A new month, a new dawn,” Ogunmola thanked her fans, colleagues, and family for their prayers and support throughout her mourning period.

Speaking partly in Yoruba, the actress revealed that she had struggled with depression since losing her son two months ago but found comfort in the outpouring of love she received from people around the world.

Ogunmola, daughter of the late theatre legend Kola Ogunmola, is celebrated as one of the pillars of Yoruba Nollywood and has featured in several stage and screen productions over the years.
