Victory For Adeleke As Supreme Court Rules

The apex court has ruled in the pre primary matter between Sen. Ademola Adeleke and Dr. Dotun Babayemi, both of the People’s Democratic Party.

The duo of Adeleke and Babayemi contested the party’s governorship ticket at different primary grounds leaving the authentic winner of the party’s ticket questionable. Dotun thereafter dragged Adeleke to court.

In the ruling of the court, appellant filed a Notice of Appeals earlier but he filed another one and opted to abandon the earlier one.

However, the second Notice of Appeals was filed out of time.

The appellant withdrew the appeal and that marks the end of the case.
