Video: Abducted Afenifere Youth Leader Regains Freedom

Abducted National President of the Afenifere Youth Council, Eniola Olajuni, has been released.

Olajuni was released on Saturday evening after 12 days in the kidnappers’ den.

Speaking in a video after his release, Olajuni who was in a car, said, “I’ve been released. I was released in Ibilo, Edo State this evening.”

Also confirming his release, the National Secretary of the Youths Council, Biodun Aderohunmu, said, “He has been released”.

Olajuni was abducted on Monday, February 17, 2025, on his way to Abuja for a meeting.

The kidnappers had demanded N100m and two tricycles as ransom for his release.
