Video: Adeleke Safe As Stage Collapses During Accord Rally In Ijebu Jesa
There was panic on Wednesday in Ijebu-Jesa during the launch of Imole Canvassers’ as the stage where the Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke and other dignitaries sat collapsed.
Governor Adeleke was at the event organised by the Accord candidate for Obokun/Oriade federal constituency, Pelumi Olajengbesi.

According to the organiser, the Imole Canvassers, who are 10,000 in number, will carry the good governance messages of Governor Ademola Adeleke to all corners of the federal constituency and Osun East as a whole.
In a video obtained by OSUN DEFENDER, the stage collapsed immediately after the governor stood to address the audience.
However, senior government sources said the Governor and other political functionaries were okay after the collapse.
Also, the lawmaker representing Ede North/ Ede South/ Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Bamidele Salam, in a post on his Facebook, confirmed that the governor is okay.
The post was accompanied by a picture of the Governor, his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi, Osun Accord chairman, Pastor Victor Akande, the spokesperson to the governor, Olawale Rasheed, the federal lawmaker.
He wrote, “With His Excellency Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, after a very successful rally in Oriade Local Government of Osun State, where Pelumi Olajengbesi launched a massive campaign in support of the Governor.”
