VIDEO: Air Peace Customer Laments How Airline Ripped Her And Fellow Nigerians Off
A frustrated Nigerian passenger has warned travellers against boarding Air Peace flights, accusing the airline of ripping off customers with poor services, excessive baggage charges, and rude staff.
The passenger, who took to social media to share her experience, claimed the airline imposes exorbitant fees on excess luggage, charging ₦31, 500 per kilogram beyond the allowed weight.
“They charge ₦31,500 for every 1kg that exceeds your baggage allowance. If it’s 5kg, they charge ₦155,000. Even when you board the plane, they ask to weigh your small bag and still charge you separately for it. They rip people off, and their staff are ridiculously rude,” she said in Yoruba.
She went further to accuse the airline’s owner of misleading Nigerians, calling the airline’s reputation a “lie.”

“The owner of Air Peace—you’re a liar. You told Nigerians it’s the best, but at the end of the day, it’s a rip-off,” she said.
Describing her unpleasant flight experience, she added, “I have never experienced a flight like this before. There was no entertainment whatsoever. None of the screens were working, and they served very small portions of food.
“I am warning you all not to board with them because I am a victim. I paid ₦200,000 for nothing
“You may think you’re saving money by flying with them, but in the end, you’ll regret the entire experience.”
She urged Nigerians to avoid the airline, stating that choosing Air Peace as a cost-saving option would only lead to regret.
As of now, Air Peace has yet to respond to the allegations.
