Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been sworn in as the Governor of Ondo State.
The Chief Judge of the State, Justice Olusegun Odusola, swore-in the former Acting Governor.
Aiyedatiwa was sworn in at the governor’s office in Akure at exactly 5:14 pm
His swearing-in came after the passing on of former governor Rotimi Akeredolu in the early hours of today.
Present at the ceremony include the Speaker of the state House of Assembly Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji, members of the assembly, the secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu and the state chairman of the ruling party APC, Ade Adetimehin.
Others include members of the exco, political office holders and other party members.
