Video: Lagos Police Allegedly Raid Innocent Residents, Threaten Them With Prison

●As Victim Makes Video From Cell, Seeks Help From Nigerians

●Men, Women, Underaged Children Put Together In A Cell

 

Police operatives at Maroko police station, Lagos State, have allegedly picked some random people in Lekki area of the state.

In a video posted online by an X user, @dammiedammie35, one of the victims was heard seeking help from the cell they were kept in.

The victim, who is a female in the video, said, “Men and women are packed together in the cell. See small pikin with children. We don’t know what to do.

“You should come to our aid. We are at Maroko police station. The police arrested us and said they are taking us to court. They told us we were not supposed to walk in the night because they were raiding. How am I supposed to know they are raiding in Lekki?

“They said we are going to prison. Please, Nigerians we need your help. We are victims.”
