Video: Osun Police Officers Harass Social Media Influencer In Osogbo
Some police officers attached to the Osun State Police Command on Tuesday afternoon allegedly harassed a social media influencer, Bayuztv.
The incident, which occurred around Islaudeen Area, Ring Road, Osogbo, has generated reactions from the general public.
In a video posted on his Facebook account, the philanthropist was seen being dragged by one of the unidentified police officers.
In the video, one of the police officers held the young man by his trousers and attempted to push him into a car.
However, the young man and his colleagues resisted the police attempt, claiming they were not criminals. They also said they were recording all that transpired at the scene.
The police officers were later seen asking for the documents of the vehicle after their attempt to take the occupants away failed.
Efforts to get police reaction were not successful at the time of filing this report.
