The family of a fresh graduate of the Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, Osun State who was said to have been reportedly dumped by a white Venza at Ayetoro area, Osogbo, Osun State, by suspected ritualists has reacted to the viral video.
Reacting to the video trending on social media, the family who identified the lady as Grace said their thirty-year-old daughter was not used and dumped by ritualists.
Speaking in the video, the mother of the lady disclosed that her daughter was depressed and ill.
She said, “We thank Allah and everyone. May you not be put to shame. Your daughter won’t get mad. There is nothing wrong with her like that. There is no one that won’t have challenges. Her challenges are not up to what people are saying. We were together yesterday when she said she wanted to go to Osogbo to see her pastor.”
Corroborating, the pastor of the lady said the incident was as a result of her failure to use her medication whenever she feels stressed and depressed.
He said, “She arrived back to Esa Oke three days ago. When I saw her at Esa Oke, I told her that she hasn’t slept and has stressed herself. Immediately, I called on her mother to ensure that her daughter used her drug so that she can be able to sleep.
“So that when she uses her drug, she will be able to relax and sleep and her system will come back to normal which she agreed to. She returned to her hostel at dawn. After that, she went to Osogbo in the morning. When she got to Osogbo, I received a call from a brother that Grace has been sighted on a bike and that she was not behaving well.
“I was told that she alighted from a bike and was spotted picking products from traders on the streets.
“She was not used by ritualists and was never dropped by a car. She was only depressed and stressed. “
