The Agbowo area of Iwo in Osun State was echoed with lamentations on Saturday as the body of Tolani Quadri Oyebanji, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, was laid to rest.
It would be recalled that the actor passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 44, allegedly due to complications related to his kidneys.
The remains were brought from the hospital in Ogbomoso, where he died on Friday.
A massive crowd had met with the remains, which were brought in a white bus to the waiting hands of Islamic clerics who performed the last rite on him before his burial.
His body has, however, been buried in his hometown of Iwo, Osun State, amidst tears from movie industry colleagues, and fans.
In the video making the rounds on social media, a wailing sound clouded the atmosphere as the body of Sisi Quadri was moved to the grave.
