Video: Soun Of Ogbomoso Ignores Oyebamiji’s Handshake As Osun APC Candidate Kneels For Godfather’s Wife
Reactions have trailed the shunning of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Mr Bola Oyebamiji by the Soun of Ogbomosho, Oba Olaoye Ghandi, during an event in the state.
In a video circulating online watched by OSUN DEFENDER, the APC flag-bearer was seen at the event trying to have a handshake with Oba Ghandi. He was however, shunned by the monarch who did not shake him.
Following the incident, the Osun APC candidate went ahead to greet the wife of former governor Gboyega Oyetola, Kafayat, who was also at the event.
However, to the surprise of many, Oyebamiji was seen in the video, kneeling to greet the former first lady of Osun State.
The development caused a stir on social media with many questioning why the Osun APC candidate would put forward his hand to greet the Soun but went ahead and knelt to acknowledge the wife of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy.
The netizens said Oyebamiji might have behaved that way to show loyalty to Oyetola who some gladiators believe singlehandedly handed him the gubernatorial ticket.
Oyebamiji is yet to react to react to the viral video as at the time of filing this report.
