We Can Wipe Out Terrorists In Seven Days – Hunters Tell Tinubu
  • PublishedNovember 9, 2025

President of the Soludero Hunters Association, Oba Nureni Lasisi, has told President Bola Tinubu that traditional worshippers can eliminate terrorists in Nigeria within seven days if given formal government approval.

The monarch said the hunters will first consult Ifa and other oracles, then enter forest enclaves, pour libations and deploy charms to neutralise insurgents, insisting indigenous spiritual methods can deliver swift results.

Oba Lasisi urged the presidency to remove political obstacles, arguing leaders often ignore local solutions despite their proven potency in community matters.

He named groups broadly Boko Haram and “Fulani jihadists” as targets of the planned spiritual campaign.

The hunters’ claim hinges entirely on official green light; without it, Oba Lasisi warned the country would continue to suffer persistent attacks and loss of lives.

Security analysts and rights advocates say spiritual rituals cannot replace coordinated military, intelligence and legal action; they warn against vigilante excesses and demand oversight, rule of law and protection for civilians.

At Redemption City, Pastor Enoch Adeboye urged diplomacy with the US for a short pause, then called on President Tinubu to order security chiefs to eliminate terrorists and their sponsors within 90 days or resign if they fail.

The proposals – seven days of spiritual warfare and a 90-day security ultimatum reflect public frustration but divide opinion: supporters seek urgent action; critics demand accountable, professional, rights-respecting responses.
