Why Ademola Refused To Attend Debates

The reason why the governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke has been avoiding public debates has been unveiled.

According to a source in PDP, the governorship candidate avoids public debates because of issues over his WAEC result.

The source gave the hint regardless of the defence by Adeleke that he was held up in a village where his supporters refused to let him go.

The source said, the result saga will definitely be utmost question for him that will come up in the debates, saying his absence is the best way to avoid it.

He affirmed that the party deliberately advised Adeleke not to show up at the debates, stressing that the debates is not a determinant of victory for PDP in the September 22.

He further stressed that the defence of Adeleke was only meant to ensure that he is not keeping quiet on the matter

“The party leadership told Adeleke to avoid the debates because of issue he is battling with over his WAEC result. We know that the result issue will be raised even while the case is still in court.

“Moreover, the people of Osun state are completely behind Senator Adeleke and will freely vote for him irrespective of the propaganda from his traducers to damage PDP’s candidate”, he  said.

OSUN DEFENDER findings showed that Adeleke was available when the debates were on, but refused to attend.

However during the debate organized by Channels Television, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola assured on the review of education status when emerge as the governor, if that is the wish of the people.

While in his word, Otunba Iyiola Omisore of Social Democratic Party (SDP), said he would reverse the structure of education to 6-3-3 form.

Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, and Alhaji Fatai Akinbade of Action Democratic Party (ADP) and Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) respectively, stressed their resolve to discontinue the single uniform and bring back the old uniform.
