Why Donald Trump Named Nigeria ‘Disgraced Country’ – ADC
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has reacted to comments by former U.S. President Donald Trump describing Nigeria as a “disgraceful country.”
Trump, in a statement on Saturday, warned that the United States could halt all aid to Nigeria if the government failed to address alleged religious persecution and attacks on Christians.
Responding via its mobilisation wing, ADC Vanguard, the party alleged that Trump’s remark stemmed from his knowledge of “files buried with the FBI” linked to Nigeria’s leadership.
The ADC stated that Nigerians are now “paying the price of shame” caused by corrupt and unaccountable leaders, stressing that only the ADC can restore the nation’s lost dignity.
