He remarked, “Perhaps we need to counsel him on proper conduct.” He further explained that confronting K1 publicly during the Fidau prayer could have led to greater embarrassment and potential estrangement from the faith.

Sheikh Onikijipa concluded by emphasising the value of maintaining one’s dignity in the eyes of Allah, regardless of human actions.

He shared that K1, upon realising his mistake, expressed remorse and sought prayers for his late mother, indicating his genuine contrition.
