Why We Embarked On Massive Road Grading – Osogbo West Chair

Chairman, Osogbo West Local Council Development Area, Alhaja Temilade Olokungboye has said the massive grading of roads across the length and breadth of the council was to ensure that people get unfettered access to their communities.

She spoke while inspecting the ongoing grading and rehabilitation of community roads in the council area.

Noting that lack of revenue has delayed the execution of the projects till now, she said the commitment of the state Governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola to ensure that residents of the state are well taken care of has made the project a reality.

According to her, road rehabilitation and grading, empowerment of people, assistance to farmers, healthcare delivery system and many others are some of the projects that have been undertaken by her administration, saying more of it would still come.

She added that the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration at the state and local government level have been showing commitment to the welfare of the people and would not relent in the efforts.

He then charged the people to continue to support the government through payment of all levies and fees to ensure that the government gets fund to achieve the mission of taking development to the nook and crannies of the state.

She also urged the people to support the APC in the coming election so that the successes recorded so far would come in folds to the benefit of the people across the state.
