Wike’s PDP Faction Fixes March For National Convention

A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has scheduled its national convention for March 28 and 29, 2026, in Abuja, as part of preparations to elect a new National Working Committee and other statutory organs of the party.

The decision was announced in a communiqué issued after the 105th meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee held on Monday in Abuja.

The communiqué was jointly signed by the National Chairman of the National Caretaker Working Committee, Abdulrahman Muhammed, and the National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu.

According to the communiqué, the NEC approved and confirmed March 28 and 29, 2026, for the PDP National Convention in Abuja.

It stated that the convention will be held for the purpose of electing members of the National Working Committee and other statutory organs of the party.
