A 40-year-old woman, Abosede Abigail has been arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrate Court for alleged conspiracy and assault on one Yinusa Emmanuel.
Abigail was docked on Monday, March 12, 2018 on a count charge bothering on conspiracy and assault.
The accused person pleaded not guilty to the offence preferred against her.
The prosecutor, Inspector Oladoye Joshua told the court that the defendant committed the offence on March 6 at about 11.30am at Oremeji Street, Ogo-Oluwa in Osogbo.
He explained further that the suspect and others at large gave Emmanuel, the complainant a fist blow all over his body and teeth bites, after which he sustained a deep cut wound.
Oladoye argued that the offence is contrary and punishable under Section 355 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Volume 11 Laws of Osun State 2003.
The defence counsel, Mr Olayinka Ojo applied for the bail of the accused in the most liberal and affordable terms.
The magistrate A. A Oloyade granted the accused bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.
She said one of the sureties must be a civil servant, sworn to affidavit of means, while both sureties must resides within the court jurisdiction with evidence of three years tax payments and three passports photography
The case was adjourned to March 27 for hearing.
