Woman In Court Over Fraud

A Magistrate Court sitting in Osogbo has arraigned Omotosho Nike, 40, for fraudulently obtaining the sum of N2million.

The accused was docked on five count charges bothering  on fraud,stealing and attempted murder

The charge sheet read in court disclosed that the accused person and others at large fraudulently obtained the sum of N2millon from one Mrs  Rashidat Oke and Alhaji Oyedele which was paid into her husband Diamond Account Number 0069001300 with pretence to supply her cashew nut known to be false.

The offence committed, the charge sheet revealed is contrary to and punishable under section 516 [A] ,416,390[9], 390[9],and 86 of criminal code cap 34 vol.11 of Osun state of Nigeria 2003.

According to the charge sheet, the suspect and others at large committed the offence on February7, 2018 at Ikare Akoko,Ondo  state.

However,the suspect pleaded not guilty to  the charges preferred against her.

Presiding Magistrate,Mr O O Oladoke later adjourned the case till October 16, 2018 for hearing.
