Workers Day: Your Sweat, Sacrifice Will Be Rewarded – Ife North MHA Elect

 

Member-elect, Osun State House of Assembly from Ife North State Constituency, Hon. Abidemi Akinyode Oyewusi, on Monday assured the workers that their sweat, sacrifice, and labour will be rewarded as the world marks the 2023 International Workers Day.

Hon. Oyewusi in a statement released through his media and digital communications aide, Segun Amure applauded the workers for being hardworking and zealous in the discharge of their duties.

He recalled his meeting with the leadership of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) and the Nigerian Union of Teachers a month before his election and his pledge to prioritise their needs.

Hon. Oyewusi, therefore charged the workers to continue to be disciplined, and professional in the discharge of their duties. According to him, their sweat and sacrifices will be rewarded in due course.

His statement reads, “Workers Day is an international day declared to appreciate the sacrifice of workers across the globe.

“Many have served their countries and gone to the world beyond. Some have sustained life injuries while working to better our country.

“In all of these, there is an assurance that your sweats and sacrifices will be rewarded”

“A month before my election, I met with the leadership of NULGE and NUT in Ife North. I listened carefully to the concerns of our working population and I promised that all will be addressed soon.

“Continue to set the pace and better the lives of others at your duty post.”
