The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has appointed 215 new aides, despite his tenure nearing its conclusion in the coming months.
The announcement of these appointments was officially made through a notice issued and signed by Dr. (Mrs) Folashade Ayoade, the Secretary to the State Government.
The appointments encompass individuals from all 21 Local Government Areas within Kogi State and came into effect on September 29, 2023.
OSUN DEFENDER learnt that, the appointments include 26 individuals who have been designated as Special Advisers to the Governor, 128 who have assumed the role of Senior Special Assistants, and an additional 51 who will serve as Special Assistants, among other positions.
