Yakubu Steps Aside As INEC Boss, Hands Over To Agbamuche
The National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, has stepped aside.
Yakubu during a meeting with Residents Electoral Commissioners on Tuesday, handed over to May Agbamuche as the Acting Chairman of the Commission.

Agbamuche is the oldest serving National Commissioner in the electoral body.
He solicited the support of the commissioners and directors of the commission for Agbamuche, until the appointment of a substantive chairman.
