Davido Urges Young Dreamers Not To Forget God After Success

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has advised young people with big dreams to remain committed to God even after attaining success.

Speaking in a recent interview with Kiss Xtra, the singer encouraged aspiring talents to believe in themselves, hone their skills, and remain passionate about their craft.

Davido recalled learning music through YouTube and people around him while growing up, stressing that constant self-improvement contributed to his rise to stardom.

He also warned that fame comes with distractions capable of making people forget God, whom he described as the source of every success.

Bobrisky Faults Men Who Die Without Writing Wills

Popular social media personality Bobrisky has criticised men with multiple wives or children from different women who fail to write wills before their death.

In an Instagram post, Bobrisky described the practice as irresponsible, arguing that it often leaves behind unnecessary family disputes and inheritance battles.

According to the socialite, anyone with a large or complex family has a responsibility to make proper legal arrangements to protect their loved ones and avoid confusion after their passing.

Emeka Ike Says Love, Marriage Become Fraudulent When Driven By Financial Motives

Veteran Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has maintained that love and marriage remain sacred institutions but become deceptive when relationships are driven by hidden financial interests.

Speaking during an interview with BBC News Pidgin, the actor criticised the growing trend of entering romantic relationships primarily for material gain.

He argued that genuine love should be built on honesty rather than financial expectations, adding that people seeking monetary assistance should ask directly instead of disguising their intentions as romance.

Ike also urged women not to model their marriages after stories they see on social media, noting that every relationship is unique and requires patience, communication, understanding, and commitment to thrive.

Morayo Afolabi-Brown Condemns Abusive Call Over Interview Questions

Media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown has expressed disappointment after receiving an abusive phone call from someone who criticised the questions she asks guests during interviews.

The television host revealed that while she has become accustomed to online criticism, receiving direct insults over the phone was disturbing.

Defending her style, Afolabi-Brown said asking probing questions is a fundamental part of journalism and noted that her over two decades of experience in the media have earned her the professional right to interview guests without fear or favour.

She also stressed that she respects her guests by agreeing on interview boundaries where necessary, adding that her programme is designed to promote positivity rather than attack individuals.

Keith Heffern Says He Enjoys Watching Rema, Burna Boy Perform

The Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Mission in Nigeria, Keith Heffern, has said he enjoys watching Nigerian music stars Rema and Burna Boy perform.

Speaking during the U.S. 250th Independence Day celebration, Heffern praised the global growth of Afrobeats, describing it as a worldwide phenomenon that has seen Nigerian artistes dominate international charts.

He specifically recalled enjoying the performances of Rema and Burna Boy during the FIFA World Cup opening ceremonies and described Rema’s hit song, Goals, as an anthem while cheering Team USA.

He also noted that American music, particularly Motown, continues to share strong cultural ties with Nigeria’s thriving creative industry.
