Court Dismisses Iyabo Ojo’s N1bn Defamation Suit Against Lizzy Anjorin

A Lagos court has reportedly dismissed the N1 billion defamation lawsuit filed by actress Iyabo Ojo against her colleague, Lizzy Anjorin.

The legal battle stemmed from a public clash between the two actresses after Iyabo shared a comic video mimicking Lizzy.

In response, Lizzy revealed personal allegations against Iyabo and refused to apologise despite a demand for a public apology and a compensation of N500 million.

Following Lizzy’s refusal, Iyabo escalated the matter by filing a N1 billion lawsuit.

Despite Lizzy’s initial absence from court, which led to summons being pasted on her residence, the case proceeded and has now been struck out.

Reacting to the court’s decision, Lizzy Anjorin took to Instagram, saying, “BREAKING NEWS !!! IYABO OJO 1 BILLION NAIRA LAW SUIT CASE AGAINST LIZZYANJORIN DISMISSED!!!”
