Oluga Resigns As NASC Southwest Commissioner, To Contest 2027 Election
A former lawmaker who represented Ayedire/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency, Hon. Taiwo Oluga, has resigned from her position as Federal Commissioner (South West) of the National Assembly Service Commission, effective March 31, 2026.
The resignation, according to her was in line with the directive of President Bola Tinubu on public office holders with political aspirations ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
“It has been a great honour and privilege to serve in this capacity under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu(GCFR)and to contribute to the growth and strengthening of our democratic institutions.
“I remain deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve and for the support of colleagues and stakeholders throughout my tenure.

“I am also profoundly grateful to our leader, His Excellency Dr Adegboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Blue and Marine Economy and the Governorship candidate of our Party in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO)for unwavering commitment to the party,” Oluga said.
The former lawmaker has not officially declared the seat she would be contesting as of the time of this report.
