The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State is targeting applicants for the 2024 Osun Teachers’ Recruitment who are yet to get appointment letters for Federal Government Empowerment Programmes, OSUN DEFENDER reliably gathered.
In a series of WhatsApp messages monitored by the medium, the awaiting teachers were directed to submit their information by a member of the Osun Teachers Recruitment group.
“This notice is for those who applied for the teachers’ recruitment and have not received an appointment letter. If this applies to you, please send your full name and phone number.
“Important notes: If you’ve already received an appointment letter and you’re working, do not resend your details. Doing so may cause unnecessary issues.
“If you previously submitted your details during the fasting package relief, no further action is needed.
“If you’ve sent your details and have since received an appointment letter, please confirm with me.
“Your prompt response is crucial, as the information needs to be submitted today. Thank you!” a member of the group wrote.
OSUN DEFENDER reports that this is the second time such a directive will be coming up on the Whatsapp platform.
During the last Ramadan, members of the group were directed to submit their details for an empowerment programme at the Ilerioluwa Campaign Office, Ogo-oluwa area, Osogbo.
The empowerment programme as observed by the medium was organized by City Boy Movement, a campaign group driving the second term ambition of President Bola Tinubu.
“There is an empowerment going from the federal government so if you have interest signify, we book like sixty slot (60), if you have interest pls signify. Give me your phone number, it lasts for only today.
“If you are part of those that were not given appointment letters and you have interest in that empowerment pls signify. Those names are only for those that did not receive appointment letters oooo,” the message read.
“Good afternoon, everyone. This is to inform you that the youth empowerment will take place tomorrow. Venue is Ilerioluwa campaign office near Gof School junction, Ogo-oluwa area Osogbo Osun State.
“This information is for those that dropped their names and phone numbers for youth empowerment. Thanks.
“Hello, for those that are present in the Hall, if they call affected teacher recruitments, we are the one. Affected teacher
“And our package is available. Because I can’t identify each face, and call me to write your name.” the coordinator wrote.
Reacting to the post, a member of the group wrote: “We complained Adeleke’s recruitment was done through slots. Now that APC is doing empowerment close to the campaign and towards the Osun election, the admins are inviting members to join through slots and we are not complaining.”
