Tinubu To Declare State Of Emergency In Rivers State – Report
President Bola Tinubu has reportedly concluded plans to declare a state of emergency in Rivers State.
According to Peoples Gazette, the president’s plan was concluded overnight and the action would be announced in short order.
The newspaper said two presidency sources familiar with the matter told confirmed the development on Tuesday.

OSUN DEFENDER gathered that the President is currently meeting with the service chiefs in Abuja with their discussion possibly centered on the ongoing political issues in Rivers State.
A retired military chief Ekwe Ibas has been identified by the president to take charge in Rivers, which is at the heart of Nigeria’s oil industry, the newspaper said.
