Tragedy struck on Wednesday at the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State, as a final year student, Kolawole Zainab, slumped and died moments before a scheduled examination.
Zainab, a Higher National Diploma II student of the Department of Quantity Surveying, was said to have collapsed while revising for her first semester paper, which was slated for 12 noon.

2. Osun 2026: Adeleke Not Joining Coalition – Osun PDP Chair
The Osun State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Sunday Bisi, has disclosed that the state governor, Ademola Adeleke, will not be leaving the PDP for the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
OSUN DEFENDER reports that the coalition has officially adopted the ADC as the political party to tackle the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, during the general election in 2027.

3. ADC Executives Resign For Mark, Aregbesola To Reposition Party
The entire executives of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) have resigned to support its interim leadership led by David Mark, the former senate president.
The former national chairman of ADC
Ralph Nwosu, stated this on Wednesday in Abuja at the unveiling of the ADC as the coalition party ahead of the 2027 elections held at the Yar’Adua Centre.
Nwosu said the executives of the party under his leadership have decided to resign and support its interim leadership.
During the event, Senator David Mark and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola were presented with ADC membership cards.
