2. Osun CJ Calls For Disciplinary Action Against Adeleke’s Commissioner

The Chief Judge of Osun State, Hon. Justice Adepele Ojo, has formally petitioned the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (LPDC) against the state Attorney General, Wole Jimi-Bada, Esq., accusing him of professional misconduct, constitutional breaches, and conduct unbecoming of a legal practitioner.

In a petition referenced BB/LPDC/1672/2025, Justice Ojo alleges that Mr. Jimi-Bada unlawfully assumed the title and functions of Acting Chairman of the Osun State Judicial Service Commission (JSC). The Chief Judge contends that by law, she alone is the designated Chairman of the JSC under the 1999 Constitution (as amended), and that the Attorney General’s self-appointment directly violates this constitutional provision.

6. Osun Govt Feeds Schoolchildren With N32m Daily – Alimi

The Osun State Government has disclosed that it spends over ₦32 million daily to provide meals for primary school pupils under its homegrown feeding initiative, known as O’Meals.

This was made known by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, in a statement issued on Wednesday, ahead of a high-level stakeholders’ conference convened to deliberate on the sustainability of the programme.
